People Not Polluters Webinar

FreeIn June, our group of organizations launched a project called People Not Polluters (www.peoplenotpolluters.com) to highlight serious regulatory failures and show that Minnesota state agencies are not living up to their responsibilities.
Join us for an informational webinar and build power for people, not polluters!
At the webinar, we’ll introduce the importance of this project, define and share characteristics of “polluter capture,” and hear from experts and community members about how this issue has impacted their lives and advocacy for strong environmental protections. There will be an audience Q & A as well as information on how to take collective action.
From Rochester to Bemidji, all Minnesotans need clean air and clean water to live long and healthy lives. We’re proud of passing laws to protect our natural resources. We depend on state government agencies to enforce these laws and protect our environment from corporate polluters. But right now, these agencies are failing us more and more often.
Together, we’re building pressure to ask the Governor and our State Legislators to make agencies do right by Minnesotans and stop giving in to polluters.
