The election is just about one month away and a lot of folks don’t know who they are going to vote for yet. Democracy doesn’t work so well when people don’t participate, so plan on getting out to vote on November 7.
To be clear, MEP does not endorse candidates. We do, however, encourage you to vote. If you would like any information about how to register to vote, where to find your polling place, who is on the ballot, or how to request an absentee ballot, etc., check out our Vote Your Values page.
As an added service, here are links to Minnesota gubernatorial candidates’ positions on issues related to the environment:
- Leslie Davis’s Positions Page (American Party)
- Mike Hatch’s Energy and Environment Pages (DFL Party)
- Peter Hutchinson’s Energy and Environment Page (Independence Party)
- Tim Pawlenty’s Energy and Environment Page (Republican Party)
- Ken Pentel’s Position Papers Page (Green Party)
- Walt Brown (Quit Raising Taxes Party) and Brian Taylor (Socialist Workers Party) do not seem to have websites.
Whoever you choose to support, be sure to vote on November 7.
