Hey there! Since you’re reading this, you probably care about Minnesota’s environment and, presumably, MEP’s work. You’re also obviously online and can see that our website, MEPartnership.org (which houses LoonCommons.org) is in serious need of an upgrade.
Well, we realize an overhaul is long overdue, too, and have been looking into options to help make that upgrade happen.
That’s why we’ve applied to be part of The Nerdery’s Overnight Website Challenge!
This awesome program pairs teams of web professionals with needy nonprofits to completely overhaul the nonprofit’s website — in 24 hours.
We are completely game for an all-nighter if it results in a new, fully functional website that could benefit Minnesotans interested in our environment, plus all 78 nonprofits that are members of the Minnesota Environmental Partnership.
So we’ve done our part: Check out our application for more about what we hope a new website could do, plus a little about why we think we would be a good choice for The Nerdery.
But we also need some help from you. Please take a few minutes to write a testimonial about why you think The Nerdery should pick us. It doesn’t have to be long, and it doesn’t have to be a masterpiece — just explain in your own words why MEP needs a new site, and how an improved site could better serve you! Testimonials are due by the end of Monday, Feb. 27.
Every testimonial counts. Thank you for your support! We will know by March 5 if we’re selected!
